Short version
- You can learn without an account. Nothing leaves your phone until you sign in.
- If you sign in, we store your email and your learning progress so it survives a reinstall or a new phone.
- No ads. No analytics or tracking SDK. We do not sell or share your data.
- The microphone is used only for speaking exercises, only while you hold the button. No audio is recorded, saved, or uploaded.
- You can delete your account and all its data from inside the app at any time.
1. What we collect, and only when
Without an account (default)
Nothing is collected. Lessons, progress, XP, and streak are stored only in the app's private storage on your device. If you delete the app, that data is gone.
With an account (optional — you choose to sign in)

That is the complete list. We do not collect your name, phone number, contacts, location, device advertising ID, or any other identifier.
What we never collect
- No audio. See section 3.
- No advertising or tracking identifiers. There is no ads SDK and no analytics SDK in the app.
- No payment information. There are no purchases in the app today. If subscriptions are added later, Google Play handles payment, card details never reach us, and this policy will be updated before that ships.
2. Automatically collected technical data
Our backend provider (Supabase) keeps standard server logs of requests the app makes — including IP address and timestamps — for security and abuse prevention. These are retained briefly by the provider and are not used to build a profile of you.
3. Microphone and speech recognition
The speaking exercises ask you to repeat a Spanish phrase. When you press and hold the speak button:
- Your phone's own, built-in speech recognition listens.
- It returns text to the app.
- The app compares that text to the expected phrase and scores the exercise.
- The text is discarded.
No audio recording is created, stored, or transmitted by this app. We never receive your voice. Whether the recognition itself runs entirely on-device or through your phone's system service is decided by your device and its settings, and is governed by your device manufacturer's and Google's privacy terms rather than ours.
Speaking exercises are optional. Every one can be skipped with no penalty, and declining the microphone permission does not block any part of the course.
4. Audio files
Lesson audio is downloaded from our storage and cached on your device so lessons work offline and load quickly. These are ordinary media files. Downloading one tells our server only that some device requested a file.
5. How we use your data
Only to run the app: to sign you in, to show and sync your progress, and to keep the service working. We do not profile you, advertise to you, or make automated decisions about you.
6. Who we share it with
No one, other than the infrastructure providers required to operate the app:

We do not sell your data. We do not share it for advertising.
7. How long we keep it
As long as your account exists. When you delete your account it is erased immediately and in full — see section 9.
8. Security
Traffic between the app and our backend is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS). Database access is restricted by row-level security policies, so one account cannot read another's data. Passwords are stored only as salted hashes by our authentication provider — we never see them.
No system is perfect and we don't claim otherwise. If we discover a breach affecting your data, we will notify affected users.
9. Deleting your account and your data
In the app: Account → Delete account (اکاؤنٹ ڈیلیٹ کریں) → confirm. Your account, progress, XP, and streak are permanently deleted from our servers and from the device immediately. There is no recovery and no grace period.
By email: write to zubairidreesspn@gmail.com from the address you signed up with. We will complete it within 30 days.
Full instructions are on the account deletion page. Deleting the app alone does not delete an online account.
10. Children
The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time by emailing zubairidreesspn@gmail.com. Deletion is also available directly in the app (section 9). Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR; we honour access, correction, deletion, and portability requests regardless of jurisdiction.
12. Changes to this policy
If we change how data is handled we will update this page and its "last updated" date, and for any material change we will show a notice in the app before it takes effect.

7. ڈیٹا کتنی دیر رکھا جاتا ہے
جب تک آپ کا اکاؤنٹ موجود ہے۔ اکاؤنٹ ڈیلیٹ کرنے پر یہ فوراً اور مکمل طور پر مٹا دیا جاتا ہے۔
8. حفاظت
ایپ اور server کے درمیان سارا رابطہ HTTPS/TLS سے encrypted ہے۔ Row-level security policies کی وجہ سے ایک اکاؤنٹ دوسرے کا ڈیٹا نہیں پڑھ سکتا۔ پاس ورڈ صرف hash کی صورت میں محفوظ ہوتے ہیں — ہم انہیں کبھی نہیں دیکھتے۔

10. بچے
یہ ایپ 13 سال سے کم عمر بچوں کے لیے نہیں ہے، اور ہم جان بوجھ کر اُن کا ڈیٹا جمع نہیں کرتے۔
11. آپ کے حقوق
آپ جب چاہیں اپنا ڈیٹا دیکھنے، درست کرانے یا ڈیلیٹ کرانے کی درخواست zubairidreesspn@gmail.com پر بھیج سکتے ہیں۔
12. پالیسی میں تبدیلی
ڈیٹا کے استعمال میں کوئی تبدیلی ہوئی تو یہ صفحہ اور اس کی تاریخ اپ ڈیٹ کی جائے گی، اور کسی اہم تبدیلی سے پہلے ایپ میں اطلاع دی جائے گی۔
